Check the finished mixture

Measure after all ingredients, preservative and final water have been incorporated and the HA is fully hydrated. Use a calibrated pH meter suitable for the serum or cream, at room temperature.

If adjustment is needed, use a formula-compatible diluted pH adjuster in small, measured additions; mix and remeasure. Recheck after 24 hours at the same temperature. There is no fixed number of drops that works for every batch.

The target must fit every ingredient and the preservative. Reaching it does not establish safety or shelf life.

Before preparing this formula

Source: KING DIY LAB 3D HA Master Handbook, Glutathione + 3D HA — 100 g. This is a development starting formula, not a tested finished product.
The final 100 g includes every ingredient: 1% glutathione, 0.5% 3D HA and 3% glycerin by weight. Water is 95.5 g minus the preservative and any other additions.
Reduced glutathione is oxidation-sensitive. Minimize unnecessary heat, air and light exposure. Shelf life requires stability and preservation testing; refrigeration alone is not preservation.

Preparation outline

STEP 01
Clean and sanitize equipment, containers, work surface and filling tools.
STEP 02
Weigh 1 g reduced glutathione, 0.5 g 3D HA and 3 g glycerin separately. Reserve part of the formula’s distilled or deionized water to dissolve the glutathione and adjust the final weight.
STEP 03
Pre-disperse the 3D HA in the glycerin until uniformly wetted. Gradually stir this mixture into the main water portion and allow it to hydrate completely.
STEP 04
Dissolve the glutathione separately in the reserved water, then gently incorporate it into the hydrated HA base at cool temperature.
STEP 05
Incorporate the selected preservative at the stage and conditions required by its ingredient specification.
STEP 06
Bring the total batch weight to exactly 100 g with the remaining water. Mix gently and check the final pH against the complete formula’s ingredient specifications.
STEP 07
Fill suitable light-protective containers, label the batch and limit unnecessary exposure to air, heat and light.
